Portland Spirit

Here are some photos from an event I did with the Portland Spirit. The Portland Spirit vessels are a unique venue choice for your wedding ceremony and reception, but are very much a crowd pleaser for corporate and holiday events. They have wonderful wedding and group packages.

• The Portland Spirit is a 150’ yacht that can seat up to 350 people in the interior decks and 540 for a reception!
• Two smaller ship options that are perfect for weddings are the custom built Willamette Star, and the newly remodeled Crystal Dolphin.

2008 Spring Colors

 It’s been awhile since I was able to Blog, so many events going on recently!  

I’ve noticed over the last month brides that have been coming into the shop that still haven’t selected their wedding colors for their 2008 weddings.  This Blog is dedicated to you!  One solid way to select your wedding colors is to keep up with fashion trends.  Use those colors seen on the NYC runways because you know that they will end up in stores everywhere.   Simply put, other retail industries wait to see what colors women fashion designers use for the upcoming seasons lines and then they duplicate those colors in their products.  One example is home décor where brides can find many decoration options for their weddings.  For Spring 2008, according to Pantone “The global authority on color”, the spring ‘08 palette is “defined by classic, versatile neutrals punctuated by splashes of invigorating brights, empowering consumers to explore new and creative ways to combine colors.”  Here are some color swatches from the Fall 2008 fashion week.  To see the new hot Spring colors go to Pantone.
